Anna Nowokuńska-Maksymiuk wins Bronze Sword at KTR Awards

School of Form lecturer's design project continues to impress
The project developed by Nowokuńska-Maksymiuk (Studio Blisko) received the award in the Design for Culture category, specifically within the Design in Public Spaces – Signage & Pictograms subcategory. The award ceremony took place on September 9 in Warsaw, where the winners were presented with the iconic sword-shaped statuettes designed by Oskar Zięta.

The KTR Award marks yet another prestigious recognition for the Chocolate Factory wayfinding project. Developed in collaboration with Homework studio, the system has already been recognized by the jury of the German Design Award 2025 and the DNA Paris Design Award 2025 It combines functionality with playful designs inspired by Wedel, Poland's oldest and most iconic chocolate brand. The wooden blocks mimic chocolate pralines, while the colorful modules are reminiscent of sugar-glazed sweets.

The KTR Awards are among the most prestigious creative competitions in Poland. For over two decades, they have recognized projects distinguished by originality, boldness, and quality of execution—where the idea matters more than the scale or budget. The jury consists of seasoned professionals and emerging talents, and winners receive the characteristic sword-shaped statuettes: bronze, silver, or gold. The competition is organized by the Association of Marketing Communication SAR, which brings together agencies and companies active in the field of marketing communication.
