This tableware piece adds an elegant touch to potato blinis—small potato pancakes popular in Eastern Europe—transforming them into a dish of distinction. The design, both literally and figuratively, elevates this humble fare, turning mealtime into a unique experience.
The stacked porcelain modules conceal portions of blinis, each topped with various ingredients such as sour cream, salmon, butter and dill, or caviar. Each module corresponds to a specific topping, with its shape reflecting the character of the ingredient within.
As diners engage with the dish, they gradually remove each module, unveiling the next layer. This serving style combines aesthetics with an element of surprise and playfulness.
