The Feet Grove

Five foot massage items: "gryczanka wielozadaniowa" (a fabric cylinder filled with buckwheat that can be used for various feet exercises or massaging purposes), "półkolczatka masująca" (a massage pillow with spikes on one side to improve circulation in the feet), "gąbczak eksplorujący" (a padded pouch in the shape of a semicircle, which can be unzipped and the foot can be slipped into the soft sponge), "rozwalczyni ciepłochłodnista" (a wooden roller for massaging and exercising the feet), and "drabinkowiec przesuwny" (a wooden ladder in the shape of a semicircle, with variously shaped beads on the rungs). The method of use is arbitrary.

The Feet Grove is a project created from the idea of sisterhood to share and build intimacy. The feet playground consists of five items: a multi-purpose buckwheat, a massage pillow with spikes, a padded pouch with soft sponge inside, a roller, a semicircle wooden ladder for massaging and exercising the feet.

The variety of elements gives great freedom to use them in any way you like. To create them, the artist used the following techniques: 3D printing, woodworking and milling, and sewing. A patchwork technique was also used for the fabric objects. The whole is harmonized by repeated shapes, such as cylinders and curves, and a color palette dominated by blacks, browns and delicate shades of pink, green and blue.

According to the artist, the idea of sisterhood transcends the boundaries of kinship and gender It is rooted in the belief that every relationship is patchwork of different moments, values, memories, joys, sorrows, support and sharing. With this project, the artist aimed to manifest and craft a tangible object — a shared experience uniting us all. She embarked on a profound exploration of how women have been perceived socially, philosophically, and throughout history. The result of this exploration was the idea for the structure of the written work itself. The collection of essays seeks to introduce the theme of "Women in the World" and elucidate the essence of connections among women. It brilliantly demonstrates why the bond between them is so crucial.
