Diploma project

Participatory Design for Education

The project documents a workshop in which primary school students created microgreen gardens on classroom windowsills, accompanied by a publication containing lesson plans and practical advice for educators interested in using participatory design methods. Research for the project was conducted in collaboration with school staff, students, a psychologist, and professionals from the education sector. The final proposal reflects the current needs and capabilities of Polish schools. The project demonstrates how participatory design in education can make learning more engaging while supporting students’ sense of agency and strengthening their psychosocial skills.
