Instruments of Improvisation in Design

“Instruments of Improvisation” is a series of five design tools for spontaneity, adaptability, and creativity developed through theoretical research and hands-on workshops. The set includes: Grit Puzzle, eRki Puzzle, Rubber Band Checkers, 2+3D Grid, and RAD (Rubber Band Aid Design). These instruments help designers explore new creative strategies, fostering greater sensitivity and adaptability. The project deminstrates how incorporating improvisation into the design process can lead to more expressive and coherent outcomes. It also helps designers better respond to changing conditions and contexts.

Graduation 10

The release of our new catalog of student graduation projects is always a special occasion. On one hand, it serves as a farewell to this year's graduates and honors their hard work by showcasing their final projects. On the other hand, it is a summary of the most significant and intriguing projects we have worked on with students throughout the past year.
