Designer, curator and lecturer. She received a Bachelor’s degree in product and furniture design from De Montfort University in Leicester, UK, and a Master’s from the University of Arts in Poznań, Poland. She gained her professional experience working for Studio Rygalik, Studio Ganszyniec and on research projects for Touch Ideas. She has owned and operated her own design studio “Agata Nowak Design” since 2020. She is the author of designs for mass-production and of small batch handmade ceramics. Her designs were manufactured by two Polish brands: Borcas and Loft Decora, and by the Danish Woud. She is also a design curator. Two years in a row she was in charge of the MANUBA collection for Gdynia Design Days, for whom she also curated the exhibitions "Waiting for Delivery" and "Keep Your Head Up", and together with Michał Bachowski, "Body at a Crossroads" and "Water is Our Concern" which were nominated for the Design Alive Awards 2020 in the category "Activity Organizer". Since 2022, Agata Nowak has also been a lecturer and a coordinator of the Industrial Design specialization at the School of Form, SWPS University of Social Science and Humanities in Warsaw.
