Profile

Agata Nowak is a designer, curator, and lecturer. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Product and Furniture Design from De Montfort University in Leicester, UK, and a Master's degree from the University of the Arts in Poznań, Poland. She gained professional experience at Studio Rygalik, Studio Ganszyniec, and through research projects for Touch Ideas.

Since 2020, she has run her own design studio, Agata Nowak Design. Her portfolio includes both mass-produced products and small-batch, handmade ceramics. Her designs have been manufactured by the Polish brands Borcas and Loft Decora, and by the Danish company Woud.

She oversaw the MANUBA collection for Gdynia Design Days for two consecutive years and curated the exhibitions Waiting for Delivery and Keep Your Head Up. Together with Michał Bachowski, she also co-curated Body at a Crossroads and Water is Our Concern exhibitions, which were nominated for the 2020 Design Alive Awards in the “Activity Organizer” category.

Since 2022, Agata Nowak has been a lecturer and coordinator of the Product Design program at the School of Form, SWPS University.
