VersaPack

VersaPack is a lightweight, ergonomic backpack made of Protan roofing membranes. It features adjustable straps, quick-release buckles, and flexible elastic cords. An integral part of the design is its waterproof, windproof hood that doesn't restrict the field of vision. The design blends sporty aesthetic and refined elegance.

Constructed from a single main panel, the backpack can be effortlessly unfolded, rolled up, and packed away. This makes it an ideal travel companion. When unfolded, the backpack can serve as a sitting mat, and multiple backpacks can be connected to form a larger shared surface—ideal for groups.

The project embraces the concept of upcycling by transforming waste materials from the production of roofing membranes into a high-quality, functional product.

VersaPack combines durability, style, and sustainability in a single innovative design.
