#polishqueens

The #polishqueens project focuses on Polish celebrities who often shape their public personas by drawing on monarchical symbolism. Many of them openly express that they feel like queens or even see themselves as such. This is evident in their appearance, fashion choices, and lifestyle. The author doesn’t refer here to traditional aristocratic elegance, but rather to its distinctly Polish interpretation—how Polish showbiz stars view luxury, status, and style.

The patriotic elements in the collection reflect the passion Polish celebrities have for expressing themselves through fashion in the context of Polish culture. The late 20th century was a time of joyful fusion between local traditions and a fascination with Western styles that had become more accessible. Unfortunately, over time, national symbols were co-opted by certain groups and became associated with aggression, vandalism, and lawlessness. However, the national colors, emblem, and flag belong to all of us—they are the heritage of the entire nation. The #polishqueens collection aims to inspire a sense of freedom of expression, national pride, courage, and above all, the empowering energy of women who are the queens of their own lives.
