Lucerna

The totem, inspired by research on alfalfa (lucerne), aims to represent the plant as a character that allows for a deeper understanding of its nature. Throughout its life, alfalfa accumulates knowledge about human needs and problems and offers its leaves and sprouts to help. The author recognized its power and decided to pay tribute to it by creating a totem in which each part of the plant symbolizes a different aspect of its nature. The entire structure, based on an analysis of alfalfa's anatomy, gives the plant a monumental character and becomes an artistic interpretation of its essence. The totem is made of fabric, porcelain, wood and clay.
