Leader Vase

Inspired by the evening primrose, an invasive plant, the project was created using advanced technologies such as 3D modeling and incremental sheet metal forming. A key component in the process is the KUKA robotic arm, which meticulously shapes cold aluminum into a unique form. The LEADER VASE serves as a functional interior object made of durable cold aluminum that symbolizes strength, determination and resilience. It invites contemplation on the concepts of rebellion, leadership, and courage.

Author of the project

The object was designed by Žofia Horová, a student of Industrial Design.

The project is part of the exhibition "Synanthropic plants. What Weeds teach us?" which was presented at this year's Gdynia Design Days 2024 festival.
