Dumpling-ness (Kluskowatość)
A Silesian dumpling must have a dimple in the middle!
In designing a serving dish for this beloved potato-based treat, I aimed to find the perfect shape that captures the essence of "dumpling-ness"—simplicity, warmth, and tradition. The result is a collection of porcelain bowls in three sizes, featuring playful, exaggerated forms that echo the classic round shape of the Silesian dumpling.
During the design process, my quest for perfection gave way to a newfound appreciation for unexpected accidents and serendipitous effects. The final shapes, though not flawless, capture the essence of "dumpling-ness" far better than any meticulously polished designs ever could.

The objects were designed by Barbara Agnieszka Nowakowska, a student of Product Design.
They were created as part of the "Tuber" (Bulwa) project, a collaborative initiative involving the School of Form, BioBazar, and Norblin Factory.
