
Fashion historian and curator
Profile
Piotr Szaradowski holds a Ph.D. in the humanities with a focus on art history. His main research interests include 19th- and 20th-century fashion history, the development of haute couture (i.e., garments made to measure for individual clients), the presentation of clothing in museum spaces, and fashion as a form of art.
He is a museum professional, curator, and co-author of numerous exhibitions devoted to fashion history. For eight years, he conducted a lecture series on the history of French fashion at the Dom Bretanii in Poznań, with a particular emphasis on the 20th century. He curates a private fashion collection Muzealne Mody.
