„Pillove”

"Pillove" is a pillow crafted to support the sexual activity of the elderly. Constructed from flexible fabric and filled with foam, it specifically targets women over 65 facing spinal problems who wish to maintain a sexually active lifestyle. The pillow secures the lumbosacral region of the spine and gently elevates the hips, facilitating intimacy. Its design also allows for lateral positioning, safeguarding the hip and femoral neck, particularly susceptible to fractures in older age.

The pillow's ergonomics have been designed based on the analysis of the spinal morphology of women over 65, and the entire project has been discussed with selected women and doctors. Pillove invites discussion about the needs of the older people, not only in the context of their sexuality. As society ages, the modern world and designers should devote more time and attention to the elderl
