ABETKA. Letters for Ukraine

Alphabet - a statement and confession of love for the rich traditions of Ukraine. It consists of two parts: the first tells the story of cultural heritage, the second is filled with images of wartime reality.

The first part delves into the essence of Ukrainian self-identification and cultural heritage. It highlights the living culture shaped by generations, blending native motifs into contemporary concepts and showcasing the richness of tradition.

The letters illustrate crafts and folk art, age-old customs that have survived to this day, as well as key events in Ukrainian history that have influenced the shaping of the national culture. Each letter was created individually, with respect for their ancestors, who put their souls and a great deal of effort into each item produced. The artist used various techniques and tools to pay tribute to her heritage.
