Agata SzydłowskaHistory of design

Completed her studies in the History of Art, Warsaw University and is completing her doctorate at the Graduate School for Social Research (GSSR) at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology, Polish Academy of Sciences. She has taken part in the preparation of various exhibitions – among others, Overdesigned? - the work of STGU members [Applied Graphic Designers Association] - Łódź Design Festival, 2011, Design for Freedom, Freedom in Design (Tokyo, Berlin, 2011) and Obok. Poland-Germany. 1000 years of history in art (Berlin, 2011).

Agata Szydłowska contributes articles on design in publications such as 2+3D, WAW, Tytule Roboczym, Futu and her particular interests lie in Polish visual culture post 1945, the poster as design, as well as design and national identity.
