Lecturer of communication design
Graphic designer. Graduate of typography and graphic design at Koninklijke Academie van Beeldende Kunsten (Royal Academy of Fine Arts) in The Hague. Founder and owner of Studio Matusiak in Amsterdam. She worked with graphic design studio Matzwart, Proforma Rotterdam, OBIBIO studio and Studio Anthon Beek.
She mainly deals with art directing, creating graphics and interactive projects, illustration and photography. In addition to projects for cultural institutions, Pauilina Matusiak is also involved in creating visual identification and preparation and execution of publications. She designs theater posters, book covers, cultural and commercial event calendars, brochures, CD covers and websites.
She has won many awards and distinctions, among others for the best book design LIEFHEBBERS (2001), FORTUYN / O'BRIEN (2001).
Juror of the Chaumount Poster Festival in France. She is one of the world’s twenty designers who designed the poster for the inauguration of the 20th anniversary of the festival.
She taught at the Academie voor ArtEZ Art & Design in Zwolle and Enschede, the Academie voor Beeldende Vorming in Tilburg and the School of Art and Design in La Rioja.
