Illustration, project organisation
A graphic artist and set designer. In 1985 he graduated what is now the University of Arts in Poznań with distinction.
In the years 1985-1992 he worked with the Poznań section of Polish National Television (TVP) as a set designer. He worked on the sets of a host of current affairs and light entertainment programmes as well as TV theatre productions. In the years 1985-1991 he cooperated with Poznań International Fair creating around 200 posters for them. In 1989-1990 he worked for the New Theatre in Poznań and cooperated with TAFF Art and Michał Merczyński at the beginning of the 1990s. He was responsible for graphic design of Malta Theatre festival (including the festival’s logo). Also, during this period, he worked on the illustrations and front covers of Wprost magazine and set designs for Poznań Jazz Fair and Poznań Blues Fair.Since 1995 he is the joint owner of Morski Graphics Studio.
After 2000 he illustrated for Wprost, Business Week, Businessman Magazine, Manager Magazine, Charaktery, Focus, Coaching, (US) Deloitte Review and Australian agency The Illustration Room. He has also worked for Virgin Blue, Fah Thai, ITB, Money, Optus, Air Macau, Prevention, Men’s Health, Creative and George.
He has won many awards in Poland and abroad: DIGIT, VIDICAL, IDEA and CHIMERA. In 2008 and 2010 he won the most prestigious award in the field, the American Excellent Award in Communication Arts. In 2010 and 2011 he won the Canadian Applied Arts award. He is interested in wildlife, genetics, cosmology, theoretical physics and travelling.
