Industrial design lecturer
Michal Piasecki is a designer, creative coder and specialist in digital fabrication. He creates non-standard software and scripts which enable generation, management and optimization of complex geometry.
He worked with Joris Laarman Lab, NEX Architecture, WWAA, Super Super and other renown design studios.
In 2012 Michal co-founded Bridge (www.brdg.pl), an interdisciplinary design studio which operates at the verge of design and technology. The portfolio of Bridge contains projects such as Biostagog - large scale 3d printed installation integrated with video mapping (commissioned by and in collaboration with Platige Image) and OperaLab - Poland’s first architectural exhibition created using Augmented Reality technology (commissioned by National Opera House). Michał studied at Warsaw School of Architecture, Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia and Msc Adaptive Architecture and Computation at the Bartlett School of Graduate Studies.
