Student project

Grechy

The project refers to the East Slavic tradition of objects that accompany people when they eat together, but are in no way utilitarian. They serve only for decoration and admiration. Inspired by the lace napkin, the authors created "Grechy" - a table decoration. The object was created using a Kuka robot and oval crystals from the Julia Glassworks.

The authors

The project was realized by Anastazja Derenowska, Yelyzaveta Gordiy and Anastasiia Karpenko – students of the School of Form at SWPS University.

The work was created as part of the project "Jewelry for the Home", carried out by the School of Form, jewelry designer Anna Orska and crystal glass masters from Julia Glassworks in Piechowice. The coordinator of the project was Sara Boś - designer, head of the Kuka workshop and digital machine workshop at the School of Form.
