Flaws

The wall hole seal was inspired by the fact that everyone has places in the apartment that need minor repairs; cracks in the wall, holes, scratches. Instead of hiding them, the authors decided to create jewelry for them. The aluminum sheet was formed using a KUKA robot, and the crystals hanging from it came from the Julia Glassworks. Its form is inspired by the shape of mold. The installation enhances the effect of scattering light and focuses attention like a lens. In this case, the shape and form are adapted to a specific context – a hole in the ceiling in the School of Form building.

The authors

The project was realized by Jagoda Harton, Matylda Wolwowicz and Jakub Walter – students of the School of Form at SWPS University.

The work was created as part of the project "Jewelry for the Home", carried out by the School of Form, jewelry designer Anna Orska and crystal glass masters from Julia Glassworks in Piechowice. The coordinator of the project was Sara Boś - designer, head of the Kuka workshop and digital machine workshop at the School of Form.
